Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add friends?
Go to the Friends tab and tap the + button. Search for your friend by
their username and send them a friend request. They'll receive a
notification and can accept or decline.
How do I share my location?
First, enable location permissions when prompted. Your location is
automatically shared with friends you've connected with. You can see
their locations on the map, and they can see yours.
What are Pings?
Pings let you mark a specific location and share it with selected
friends. You can add a description, photo, and even have a group
conversation about that spot. Great for sharing restaurant
recommendations, meeting points, or interesting places.
How do I set my status?
Go to your Profile tab and tap on the status button. You can choose
from preset options like "Available" or "Busy," or type your own
custom status message.
Is my location always visible?
Your location is only shared when the app is open, unless you allow to
always allow your location. Only friends you've accepted can see your
location - not strangers or other users not in your friends list.
How do I remove a friend?
Go to the Friends tab, find the friend you want to remove, and tap the
"x" within their friend card. Tap the remove button to unfriend them.
They will no longer see your location.
I forgot my password. How do I recover my account?
If you saved your recovery code, you can use it to reset your
password. On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your
recovery code. If you don't have your recovery code, send support an
email with your email address and add identifying information for
verification.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at inner.circle.with.friends@gmail.com with your account
email address and we'll process your account deletion request or on
the profile tab you can tap "delete account" to delete your account.
